Highlights of the Quarter

This quarter marked significant step forward in Innominds' strategic growth and market presence. We announced a strategic partnership with Aquila Clouds, strengthening our ability to help enterprises maximize cloud ROI by bringing financial discipline, visibility, and AI-powered intelligence to their cloud operations. Our position as a trusted Digital Engineering partner was further reinforced with recognition in the latest ISG Provider Lens™ Digital Engineering Services study.

Thought leadership continued to gain momentum, with our QE expert Karthik Reddy writing in CXOToday on the need to move from isolated AI adoption in testing to AI-led Quality Intelligence — positioning quality as a unified, enterprise-wide intelligence layer that drives smarter decisions and measurable business outcomes. This came against the backdrop of accelerating industry trends, with worldwide AI spending projected to reach $2.59 trillion in 2026, transformer-based clinical NLP reshaping healthcare, and agentic automation and digital threads enabling up to 40% faster time-to-market in manufacturing.

On the delivery front, our case study on scaling product sustenance for a leading software product company showcased how we transform enterprise data management portfolios for engineering excellence, while our popular blog on AI-led drug discovery explored what it truly takes to win beyond partnership announcements. Our Learning Corner reflected on how AI is not replacing engineering but changing the context in which engineering is relevant.

Beyond work, InnoVoices celebrated a decade-long journey of growth at Innominds — from Market Research to Business Development — while our Passion Corner spotlighted Lalitha Sirisha Telikicherla, who trades her laptop for ghungroos, and our Innostars recognized the exceptional performers who made this quarter shine.

AI is not replacing engineering; it is changing the context in which engineering is relevant
By Mahalingam Murali Iyer, Senior Technical Lead, Experience Engineering

Generative AI has quickly evolved from a coding assistant to a capable development partner.
It can scaffold applications, turn designs into components, and generate large amounts of code in minutes.
But our experience taught us a valuable lesson: AI speeds up the implementation process.
Engineers make sure it’s correct. The areas where

AI Provides the Greatest Benefits

AI is particularly strong at doing repetitive, structural development tasks:

  • Application and component scaffolding creation
  • Convert designs to user interface components
  • Generating boilerplate and repetitive patterns
  • Speeding up the initial operational implementation
Key Point: The bottleneck is no longer the first draft of an application.

Where Artificial Intelligence Still Struggles

Even with detailed requirements, the AI can miss important details . Large language models work in such a way.

1.Weakening of Attention

In long requirement documents, thousands of other tokens compete with small but critical instructions.

Result: More likely to violate UI rules, configuration values and design constraints.

2.Training Priors Override Project Rules

If requirements are fuzzy or unclear, AI falls back to traditional implementation paradigms learned during training.

Result: Technically correct solutions, but not always aligned with project requirements.

3.Contextual Placement is Important

Instructions placed at the beginning and end of prompts are remembered more effectively than those hidden in the middle.

Result: Critical requirements may be missed.

What Works Better

Teams are finding that restructuring prompts is getting better results than expanding documentation.

Best practices are:

  • Highlight key constraints first.
  • Make explicit statements including what is not permitted.
  • Provide limited but relevant context.
  • Reference authoritative implementation artifacts.

Where Engineers Deliver the Greatest Value

AI assumes a greater role in implementation and engineering effort is freed up for higher value activities.

  • Assessing business regulations
  • Assessing architectural and design choices
  • Maintaining consistency in behavior
  • The fidelity check of design
  • Handling regressions and integrations
  • Choosing which buildings should not be built

Such obligations require context, judgment, and accountability that humans are still best at.

In Conclusion

The future is not an engineer vs. AI battle.

Engineers and AI are working together, each person doing what they do best in the field.

The first draft is written by artificial intelligence. Engineers build guardrails, provide guidance, verify correctness, and ship production-ready software. That is where the biggest productivity gains are coming.

Dancing Through Tradition

Featuring: Lalitha Sirisha Telikicherla, Trainee, Mobility

My journey with Kuchipudi began years ago and has grown into one of the most defining parts of my life. With eight years of formal training and a completed Kuchipudi certification, classical dance has taught me discipline, dedication, and the joy of preserving an art form that carries centuries of tradition. Being recognized as a B-Grade Artist by Doordarshan remains one of my proudest milestones.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing at some of the most prestigious spiritual and cultural platforms in the country, including Tirumala (Naada Neerajanam), ISKCON, Chidambaram, and Srisailam. Each performance has been a deeply humbling experience, connecting me to audiences, tradition, and something larger than myself. One of the most memorable moments of my journey was being part of a Guinness World Record performance alongside more than 5,000 artists—a powerful reminder of how art can bring people together on an extraordinary scale.

A significant part of what makes this journey sustainable is the environment at Innominds. The organization's culture of encouraging individuality and supporting passions beyond the workplace has allowed me to balance my professional responsibilities with my commitment to dance. The flexibility, trust, and encouragement from leadership and colleagues have enabled me to continue performing, practicing, and teaching without compromising on either front. At Innominds, I've experienced firsthand that when an organization celebrates the whole person—not just the professional—both sides flourish.

This journey continues to be driven by my love for Kuchipudi, my desire to keep the tradition alive, and my hope to inspire more people to experience the beauty of classical dance. I look forward to many more performances and to nurturing the next generation of dancers.
