The AI-led Drug Discovery Race Is On — But Winning Requires More Than a Partnership Announcement
Quarterly Newsletter | Apr - Jun 2026
This quarter marked a strong stride forward in Innominds’ strategic growth and market leadership. The SIIX–Innominds joint venture brought together end-to-end product engineering capabilities spanning design, manufacturing, AI-driven software, and cloud platforms strengthening our ability to deliver full-stack innovation at scale. We also announced a strategic partnership with Volt Active Data, enabling enterprises to move from data to decision in milliseconds through real-time, AI-powered intelligence.
Our leadership in AI and digital engineering was reinforced by analyst recognitions from ISG and Everest Group, where Innominds was positioned as a Product Challenger and Major Contender across multiple 2025 PEAK Matrix® and Provider Lens™ assessments, covering AI-driven application development, quality engineering, digital transformation, and product engineering.
Thought leadership continued to gain prominence with Anil Katakam, COO, sharing insights on how GCCs are evolving into fully functional business hubs by leveraging talent, ecosystem partnerships, and emerging technologies such as AI and digital engineering.
Our focus on future-ready skills remained strong with the Innominds x ACCELQ AI-led Quality Engineering enablement program, reinforcing our learning culture, while our Passion Corner and Moments of Joy celebrated the diverse talents, festivals, and sporting achievements that make Innominds a vibrant and connected workplace.
Dear Colleagues,
Imagine this: If you and I each have one apple and we exchange them, we still end up with one apple apiece. But if we each have one idea and share them, we walk away with two ideas, enriching both our perspectives. This is the power of knowledge exchange—a core principle that drives our editorial approach. At Innominds, we believe in a shared journey of learning, where innovation grows through collaboration and thought leadership.
We are excited to introduce our newly structured Editorial Board, a team dedicated to bringing diverse perspectives and insightful content to our colleagues. This board comprises Harshita Verma, Mahalingam Murali Iyer, Suraj Gurnani, Bharath Bhushan Pattem, Paul Raj Marthi, and Divya Shri Chanvelly.
We look forward to engaging with each of you in a meaningful exchange of ideas that fosters growth and shared success. Please share your suggestions/feedback at newsletter@innominds.com
Regards,
Anjan Jayasimha

We're delighted to announce a strategic partnership between Innominds and Aquila Clouds.
As enterprises rapidly scale their AI, Data, and Cloud initiatives, optimizing costs and maximizing business value have become essential to sustained growth. This partnership helps our customers move beyond visibility to action — enabling effective governance, smarter cloud spending, and stronger ROI.
By combining Aquila Clouds' Andromeda™ platform for FinOps and BillOps with Innominds' expertise in AI, Data Engineering, and Cloud Transformation, we can offer customers the intelligence they need to optimize spend, strengthen accountability, and accelerate business outcomes.
"Our partnership with Aquila Clouds enables us to combine world-class engineering services with governance and optimization, helping customers maximize ROI from their AI, Data, and Cloud investments," said Divakar Tantravahi, CEO of Innominds.
This opens up exciting new opportunities across our AI, Data, and Cloud practices — watch this space for more on how teams can get involved.
Worldwide AI spending is projected to reach $2.59 trillion in 2026, a 47% year-over-year increase. Growth is driven by expanding AI infrastructure and cloud capacity, while enterprise adoption accelerates through GenAI models and AI agents, positioning 2026 as a pivotal year for broader AI investment.
AI-driven clinical NLP is a key healthcare technology trend, evolving from rule-based systems to transformer-based models. It is increasingly used for automated clinical coding, EHR optimization, and medical entity recognition, reducing administrative workload and improving accuracy.
AI-driven agentic automation and digital threads are reshaping manufacturing, enabling up to 40% faster time-to-market and improved regulatory accuracy. By 2030, semiautonomous AI agents may manage 10% of production operations. However, rising AI integration could also increase system costs and vendor lock-in risks across industrial ecosystems.
Innominds continues to strengthen its position as a trusted Digital Engineering partner with recognition in the latest ISG Provider Lens™ Digital Engineering Services study.
AI investments are accelerating across industries—but are they truly delivering the expected value and ROI? In this CXOToday article, our QE expert Karthik Reddy outlines the need to shift from isolated AI adoption in testing to AI-led Quality Intelligence—positioning quality as a unified, enterprise-wide intelligence layer that drives smarter decisions and measurable business outcomes.
Innominds partnered with a leading software product company to transform product sustenance across its enterprise data management portfolio. By implementing a scalable sustenance model, we enhanced reliability, streamlined release management, and enabled continuous product improvements across seven enterprise products.
AI is not replacing engineering;it is changing the context in which engineering is relevant
Generative AI has quickly evolved from a coding assistant to a capable development partner. It can scaffold applications, turn designs into components, and generate large amounts of code in minutes. Engineers ensure correctness, governance, and production readiness.
AI speeds up the implementation process. Engineers make sure it's correct. AI is particularly strong at repetitive structural development work:
In long requirement documents, thousands of other tokens compete with small but critical instructions.
Result: More likely to violate UI rules, configuration values and design constraints.
If requirements are fuzzy or unclear, AI falls back to traditional implementation paradigms learned during training.
Results: Technically correct solutions, but not always aligned with project requirements.
Instructions placed at the beginning and end of prompts are remembered more effectively than those hidden in the middle.
Result: Critical requirements may be missed.
Teams are finding that restructuring prompts is getting better results than expanding documentation.
Such obligations require context, judgment, and accountability that humans are still best at.
The future is not an engineer vs. AI battle.
Engineers and AI are working together, each person doing what they do best in the field.
The first draft is written by artificial intelligence. Engineers build guardrails, provide guidance, verify correctness, and ship production-ready software. That is where the biggest productivity gains are coming.
A Decade of Growth at Innominds
Ten years at Innominds have been a journey of constant evolution from Market Research in 2016, to Inside Sales, and now Business Development, solving complex problems that drive real business outcomes. Along the way, I've witnessed the shift toward data-driven decision-making and grown through a culture of collaboration and ownership. Each challenge has built resilience and adaptability. I look forward to new challenges and growing further with Innominds.
