Job Description 

At Innominds, we are seeking a UI Experience Engineering Director to help us spearhead our Experience Engineering team as we develop, identify opportunities, build digital solutions, and grow our Experience Engineering service offerings.  

Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in UI - Experience Engineering solutions services offering. They must have a customer-first mindset, a strong understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages, and the ability to develop data pipelines that can be used to track, analyze, and improve our digital product services. This role requires a candidate with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as you'll be working with a team to build ISV and Enterprise solutions using JAVA Script, Angular JS, React JS, VueJS and RAD Tools such as Outsystems, Mendix, Appian and Zudy-Vinyl. This is a customer centric role – to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions with utmost customer satisfaction and drive the delivery teams for excellency in delivery.  Responsible for hiring for the Business Unit as needed and to sustain the practice growth.  

 Objectives of this Role & Responsibilities 

  • Manage a team of up to 40 engineers

  • Hire UI - Experience Engineering engineers to sustain the growth of the Business Unit

  • Allocation / Deallocation of resources to the projects, POCs, & R&D projects 

  • Bench Management to optimize the utilization of resources in your team 

  • Periodic team meetings to ensure top down and bottom-up communications

  • Promote and propagate best SDLC and quality practices for delivery excellency to customers

  • Mentor and lead team members 

  • Assist teams in solving complex issues / problems of customers

  • Work with Business Unit head to build practice growth strategies and plans 

  • Work with Sales and Solution Engineering Teams to deliver solutions to customers 

  • Audit projects periodically so projects are delivered meeting customer expectations and no issues with teams and delivery

  • Periodic connect with onshore team members

  • Deal with Challenges, draw conclusions, and anticipate problems & resolution strategies

  • Oversees highly complex, cross functional projects independently at a cross portfolio level in multiple domains

  • Communicates concepts, action plans crisply 

  • Ensures that infrastructure for projects is architected and delivered according to plan, design, and deployed successfully, including on premise and cloud 

  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership, guidance and mentoring

  • Leverage automation methodologies to architect and design a wide range of automated testing platforms and frameworks that will ultimately reduce defects, improve quality and enable delivery of high-quality software faster using a continuous delivery process 

  • Seek opportunities to leverage existing technology and integrate new where needed to optimize for the customer

  • Oversee and mentor the efforts from other engineers assigned to various projects in your team

  • Work with various geo-dispersed teams to promote quality best practices, and standardization 

  • Participate in the review of product design specifications and source code with other members of the engineering team, ensure the desired quality

  • Stay current with and utilize industry best practices and metrics

  • Help in technical screening during interview process 

  • Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization 

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance of the team members

  • Write timely appraisals and ensure the team members write timely appraisals 

Skills and Qualifications 

  •  10+ years’ experience in digital products services 

  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills

  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems

  • Bachelor's /Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 

  • Experience with front-end programming languages, such as JAVA Script, Angular JS, React JS, VueJS, HTML, CSS, RAD tools exposure / experience.
